One day I stepped on the scale to realize I was seven pounds away from what I weighed when I was nine months pregnant with a 9 pound baby, from there I decided it was time to take care of myself. I began by getting my food under control but needed something more to see the results I was looking for. I really wanted to tone up, but I had never stepped foot in a gym before and needed a trainer to show me how to get the results I wanted. Kristi was great about taking my beginning measurements and showing me that even if the scale was not moving like I had hoped, the body fat was going down at an amazing rate, which was a great motivator. She is great at switching up the routine, and targeting the areas I want to focus on, I would not be where I am today without her expertise. I have lost a total of 42 pounds, 20 inches and my body fat has gone from 35% down to 21%. I have so much more confidence in my looks and feel great! Thanks Kristi!

Working with Kristi was such a pleasure and the process of having my food sensitivities tested was much easier than I anticipated. Some of the results I expected, and some were a complete surprise. Kristi's knowledge and support was of great benefit, and now armed with this new information I'm making better choices which has led to feeling healthier and happier. If you've never had your sensitivities tested before I highly recommend working with Kristi. The results will benefit your life in many ways.

My name is Erna and physical activity has always been a part of my life. Due to chronic back pain, I faithfully walk two miles a day, six days a week and workout. My physical activity slowed down four and a half years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Once I was given clearance to workout, I was back in the gym, even during chemo and radiation. My doctor attributes my recovery to faithful exercise and good nutrition. During my comeback I neglected to stretch properly. After several years of muscle tightening to the point of being painful, I knew something had to be done to become more flexible. I approached Kristi in December of 2011, after seeing her work with clients, to set up a program to help me gain some strength and regain flexibility. After months of various workouts and many stretches, I have gained flexibility that my body hasn't been capable of for some time. My daily tasks have also become much easier such as bending over, lifting items, climbing stairs and getting up from off the floor. I so appreciate Kristi's encouragement and patience during the months of working toward my goal. Proper workouts and good nutrition will continue to be an integral part of my life. Thank Kristi!

I am 48 years old and for the last year I have noticed a difference in my skin. I started to develop pimple like bumps and redness on my cheeks. I applied acne creams and cleaned my face every night before going to bed, but could not get rid of the bumps. On my 48th birthday I celebrated with a steak and lobster dinner and ended up in the ER the next day with an allergic reaction to the lobster. I told the nurse that I never broke out in hives before when eating lobster. She told me, "you know as we get older our bodies react differently with food." That's when the light bulb went on and I thought, "Is the food I am eating making these bumps on my cheeks?" As I am telling my personal trainer, Kristi, about my situation, she said that what I am eating could be causing the problem and that she might be able to help me. She had recently been certified to test people for food sensitivities. Once tested, we found out I was sensitive to gluten, chocolate, coffee and basically anything high in sugar. Everything I love to eat! The easiest thing to eliminate from my diet was chocolate. After a week I only noticed a slight difference in my cheeks, not as red in color. The second week I eliminated gluten from my diet which I thought was going to be very hard and much to my amazement it was not. By the the third day the bumps started to get smaller and within seven days much clearer. I felt like I found the culprit. The added benefit was I had lost 3 lbs in the first 10 days! I do indulge in chocolate occasionally but I really try to stay clear from gluten. There might be times when I can't get away from gluten, then the next day I'll have a break out. But at least I now know what I need to do to keep my skin clear. I am so glad I got tested for food sensitivities.

The best gift I ever gave to myself was deciding to get healthy. I started a couple years ago working out at a gym (weights and cardio). I also tried a few "diets" one of which was not healthy -too few calories. My plan felt disjointed and I needed some help to figure out what was best for me, so I started working out with Kristi, focusing on proper form and gaining strength. During our time working together I was in a car accident and was not allowed to do as much activity due to my injuries. For the past year she has helped me get back into shape after being inactive for several months due to the accident. I still have some issues we are working through and she is helping me get stronger. She also helped me on the nutritional side, teaching me how to eat right. My goal was to eat better, get rid of the unneeded supplements I was taking and to reduce some of my medication. I have learned how to eat clean, I have dropped unnecessary supplements and by my doctor's permission I was able to reduce my medication and I feel great. Kristi also did some testing for me to see what foods were irritating me (ones I should avoid). I had my list and eliminated those foods from my diet and as a result my digestive system feels much better. She also recommended a few supplements based on the results of the tests. Since I have made these changes I sleep better at night, have more energy and think clearly. For me, Kristi is a one stop shop for help and advice with nutrition and living an active lifestyle. She has helped me to move on and keep my spirits up while working through the injuries. I highly recommend Kristi, she is well versed in nutrition and personal training. She has a whole body approach to wellness and it's the perfect choice for me.

Some years ago my wife had some heart problems which resulted in 2 stints placed in her arteries and an exercise program at the hospital. It was recommended by her physician that she continue with these exercises after leaving the hospital program. In the meanwhile I developed diabetes and needed to get into an exercise program also. This is when we met Kristi our personal trainer and she has been such a help to both of us as we are both 83 years of age. She developed a program that fits our age and additional balance problems of my wife. We are very pleased with the program that she developed for us and both our doctors are pleased that we are getting the needed exercise. I would highly recommend Kristi as a personal trainer as she has both the knowledge, and concern for us, and is a very capable instructor.
